I went to use my $4 off a venus razor today at Zellers, and I did have other things too and just becuase the razoar had extras with it that said they were free at no charge so techinally all i was buying was the razor the cashier refused my coupon becuase she said i wasnt buying the item for the coupon so i left everything there and walked out, then when i called the company they said its up to the store if they take coupons or not so I will not be shopping at any Zellers stores again, Then when I called gillete to tell them they said it was a promotion just for that store, which i know is a crock, so I wont be buying their products either.

All you have to do is try again with a different cashier. Try the male ones if you can find any, They tend to need coaching while doing coupons.... But not all, I am not picking on anyone or saying they are weaker etc. etc. (now no one can get mad) Just saying it's something I've noticed!

I agree with Freeplease, try another cashier. Kinda sucks but you might get lucky and the coupon as far as I'm concerned is ok to use if in fact the item you are getting scans as the razor and the other items are bonuses.

Try going to a different cashier - I normally go to the younger teen girls. They seem much nicer they do ask but they dont get all snotty and pissy like the older cashiers. Remember stand your ground dont let them push you over. Your a paying customer and deserve to be treated properly. Try a different store even. Ive had many cashiers tell me no - I pick my order up and walk to the next line and the cashier accepted it. If your willing to make a scene to get the products go for. I could honestly care a less what people think of me if the cashier makes a big deal about it Ill raise my voice. Im loud to begin with so just imagine me getting louder. Also, I get this from my dad I can have a tone of voice that would scare the managers away yet IM not actually mad LMAO. Plus, if they give me a hard time and be a biatch I just walk out leaving the stuff there and PM to another store.

your too funny, wish I had the gahunas to do that! But I totally agree, try another cashier. I was at Zellers and PM the Ivory soap and it came with a bonus hand wash and had no problems, and it was a younger cashier too. Don't give up!...

I had quite the experiece today at WM. The cashier wouldn't let me PM and use coupons at the same time. I bought the stuff anyway. Then I thought about it. Took all the stuff back that they wouldn't take coupons and PM for, got my money back, and bought the stuff from the other store. ( make sense???)


I then called up WM and asked their policy on PM and using coupons at the same time. I was told that the DO accept both at once. ( I was also told to call a manager next time this happens) Now I know what to do from now on!!!!!!!!!

Some of the products with bonuses (ie- toothpaste and moutwash) are coming out with comments on the package that say something to the effect of 'the bonus is included in the price of the prodcut' ... maybe to stop the confusion? Definately don't let one experience stop you from trying it again ...
