you have to know exactly how much it costs, AND how big the package is...they have a method for size and weight, so I would just make the trip. You wanna gripe about gas? Not only did we get HST here, we also got a carbon tax increase.

^ya, but we don't get any rebate cheques, so it evens out.

Not really, our rebate cheques last 1 year, we still have to pay HST on fuel next year!
It just makes us feel a little better about it now so by the time the election comes around next year we wont hate the government.
Even if you do go to the Post Office to have it weighed, you can still use your P stamps (on occasion they will exchange them for me so I use bigger denominations on the package and they keep the P stamps) but I would have it weighed because they send them back if there isn't enough postage.

bring it to the post office - they'll weigh it & tell you how many stamps to use.
