Saturday we were in Chatham visiting family. My mom watched the kids so dh and I could do the bonus redemption together (he's only gone with 1x when we redeemed 2x in one days because after I did my practical redemption he decided he wanted to redeem for a TV on sale).

anyways back to yesterday! I forgot my coupons but it would have just been diaper coupons I had anyways.
We were going to Rondeau for the afternoon and I was almost out of sunscreen and needed ice.

So our items that were not on sale were
    2 bags of ice
    suncreen
    2 containers of bug spray
1 bottle of listerine (I read that if you spray listerine where you are outside mosquitos will stay away....figured it can't hurt to try)
    chocolate almonds (dh was hungry)
    2 bags of chips

    Sale items
    4 bags of goodnights
2 packs of pampers (rang up at regular price but there was a sign in the aisle that said $12.99 for a max of 2) and I got them for the lower price
    4 cases of water
    3 packs of fruit snacks
    6 kotex
    2 catelli pasta
    2 crispers
    6 twin packs of chapstick
1 bag of milk (for my mom) on sale at that store only for $1.99
    mixed nuts
2 cases of pop...which weren't really 'sale' compared to good sales but we needed it for that evening

    subtotal before tax $208.01
    Paid $24.59
Earned 280 regular points and 40 bonus points and my 10000 kickback for being plus
So I'm a little over 19,000 points now.

With the point changes I'll just be stocking up on 20x days (if they are still offered). For us shoppers will still be worth it for buying milk as we go through 4 bags a week...so that's over $800 in milk at shoppers which is the cheapest store for us to buy it!

yes it was the new one on Grand. My mom lives closer to the Queen street one but I thought the new one would be better for a bonus redemption.

No I didn't but it was a code they had to enter for the discount (the milk had the same thing) she was just not informed of that one. I didn't think of it at the time either.

It was nice! My sister-in-law's parents have a cottage so I hung out there with my youngest while dh took the other kids out for a while. Went to the beach for a little while but my youngest didn't like the sand and the water was way too cold.
