Thanks for posting this. I was planning on stopping by this weekend for a TP stop, as my dentist is two blocks away, and I don't really have much else that I need from GT. Will they take the coupon even if it's under a dollar?

I don't know about Ontario or other provinces but I have never been able to use a coupon for even a penny under at the Giant Tiger as the computer wouldn't except it,I tried a few times couldn't do it.Quote:

omg Canadian Tire carries the 4-pk???? Thought I'd have to keep getting it when I make my out of town trips which isn't very often..... I am sooo going to check my Canadian Tire, I'm calling them right now.....lol

At Giant Tigre they usually adjust the price of the coupon. In this case they gave me 6 x 99 cents.
Was there today and it was $1.29, bought one as I only had one coupon, need more!!!!!! Will check next week :)
They always adjust it for me as well at GT... I'm going to have to check this out. ....

Will Giant Tiger accept a coupon for the item with the coupon is valued more than the item?? Many stores have denied me this in the past if the coupon value exceeds the price of the item for sale. Stores claim its fraud. Please post if you are successful using this coupon for Majesta T.P. when it is on sale for $0.99. Thanks!!
I don't have a coupon in front of me but if in the small print it states that taxes (GST, PST, HST) are included in face value of coupon then the toilet paper at a before tax cost of $0.99 will end up costing more than $0.99 after taxes so the store should accept the coupon no problem....mind you a store can refuse to accept coupons...but I would still point it out to the cashier and if I really wanted to make a point I'd ask for the manager on duty to make the final call on whether they take the coupon or not as some cashiers tend to make up their own rules sometimes.
Before the price changed to $1.29, I used the $1 coupon on the $.99 package several times. No one had ever said anything to me so I waded through my unfiled pile of receipts to make sure, and the two I could put my hand on both had the full $1 of the coupon credited.

Went to GT in Chatham and it was not on sale. According to the manager, GT is not going to carry Majesta any longer, they are switching to another brand. Don't know if this applies to all GT's - or just this store.
I went to my local Giant Tiger and they had 4 left. I checked to find out if there were more in stock but was told that these were the last 4 and they wouldn't be carrying the 4-roll size any more. It was a good deal while it lasted. :-)
