So I'm reading through some old posts, and I'm seeing a lot of rave about Smash Box Photo Ready primer. I recently bought the Elf primer and I like it. I've never used any Smash Box products. Just looking for some reviews

I haven't tried the smashbox, but the ingredients are similar in the elf, gosh, revlon primers that I already, so I don't see a point in buying that one, and the samples that I have of it can hold me over. Lots of girls use monistat anti chafing powder gel as a primer too and it works great. Check it out on makeupalley or google it, I am serious. It's not intended for that use, but it works just the same.

my poor mommy has very problem skin. Im talking giant dark purple blemishes. She would be lost without her smashbox primer. I just know she loves it and if she runs out at a time when she can't afford a new one then she isnt a happy camper.

Myself, I don't like any of those primers at all. I just noticed Loreal came out with one as well. The product I LOVE is Makeup Forever HD powder. It's a white powder (is colourless on skin) and gives you an airbrushed look. Pricey, but lasts forever. Also prevents you from having to touch up your other powder all the time as it really prevents shine.
