Last week I won a 5000$ shopping spree at Holt Renfrew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2500$ for her (me!!) and 2500$ for him (my boyfriend)
+ a shopping consultant
+ lunch at Holt café (sandwich's run for about 20$ from what I've seen on their menu...)

SO HAPPY!!!!!!
I know everything is so expensive there but I'm going to try to buy as much as I can with it (Fry boots, Marc by Marc Jacobs bag, etc.).

I'm going to be on the lookout for well made stuff. Classic items not the look of the month(Even though I'd like to buy myself a couple of things in style for this season). Stuff that, if I take good care of it, it'll last me at least 5 years.
Leather or heavy wool for example

-I'd like a pair of Hunter Wellies Original which run for about 150$.
-I want a bit of makeup (between 200-300$). Clinique and Nars are the least expensive there.
-I looked up almost every brand they have at Holt Montreal and a couple of them have stuff under 100$ per item, so I'll be looking out for them.
-I want maybe a nice ring or a simple sterling silver bangle(I say that some of them go for 70$).

I don't really know what I want anyways.
I'm being realistic: Holt's is expensive but I'm going to take my time and look for items. The personal shopper is probably going to be pissed at me, but hey, I won...

Enjoy, and don't worry about the personal shopper. Maybe give them a few items you are looking for to keep them busy trying to fulfill. Lol.

Some other ideas for Holts, cashmere scarf, nice pair of sunglasses, wallet, perfume, jeans.

Yes, it's expensive but you can definitely get some nice items for $200 each.

Now....call me crazy but how many contests do you guys enter and how often? I have been at it pretty regularly for about 2 months and nothing. I don't really have the time to enter more than I am so just wondering if I am wasting my time. My theory has always been that "someone's got to win" but am I competing with millions or what?

yeah, I feel like I'm on a dry spell... but can't complain as had that free night's stay at a holiday Inn about a month and a half ago. Just made me committ to entering even more...but gets tiresome after about a month or so of doing it every day. then WHAM a win will come...even a small one...and renew the faith again! keep on, keepin' on!
