So I just decided to try this out. Do I just use the search and hope to get points. I just won 1 SB so now I have 4. How long does it take to get gift cards?, do most ppl here choose amazon.ca (because of the better shipping on the canadian site), what else can i do to get points?, are there any tips that can help a newbie like me?.

It doesn't take that long to get giftcards, usually if you search every day you can get at least two bucks/day. Its extremely unlikely to get more swagbucks searching right after you just found them, so you need to 'wait' in between. I usually search once in the morning and once in the evening to space them out. Then, there is usually a swagbuck to find every day, but not always. You can get a widget on the site which gives you a hint to find the hidden swagbuck if there is one available, so that is a good idea. Occasionally you can get one on the toolbar as well.
