Great thread, K.
I'll admit, I use to be WAY more generous with everyone than I am of late. I use to be the "go to" person if someone/anyone wanted coupons. And I use to give them away without a thought or care about it.
Then someone pissed me off, and now I exchange mostly RAOKs with those that I count as friends.Add me on twitter and I'll add you back! Just mention you are from SC!

I trade FPC'S FOR GC'S quite a bit.Its not that i won't/don't trade them for other coupons, but there are not coupons around for everything i buy,so i guess i kind of think of GC's (and also SDM points)as coupons i can use towards those products where the coupons dont exist.

Yea, I find most coupons are easy to come by in store, or the rare ones are too much trouble to trade for. I never have any FPC's or gc's to trade! Do people just post asking for them in hopes they'll get lots?

But whats wrong with lets say you have $1.00 off bread coupons on your wish list. Say I have 10 of those and I want a $5.00 or $6.00 fpc I see you have available is that an issue. Don't get me wrong I don't trade much just take people up on their coupon bundle offers. Just curious I guess, lol.

And somtimes a GC is an easy way to get the coupons that I can't get- I have a 13 mos boy, work full time, and my commute takes up 16 hours of my week. When I am home- want to spend it with my hubby and babe. Thanks for a few great trains- I am stocked- for a while. But when my pile is low, and my coupons are few- a GC is a great way for me to save more money than the GC.
It is a matter of respect that we should/do show each other that really is the bottom line here.

I had an issue once where I had a list of coupons (FPC/MIR/high value) and I specifically asked to trade them (as well as any others to make up the value) for the Maxx litter FPC. I did get one person wanting the higher FPC's in exchange for $30 (I think it was that value) of any of their coupons. Unfortunately, it wasn't a matter of me being greedy - but I didn't have any need for their coupons (most were low value 30¢-75¢ for product I don't use)...but I felt so bad PM'ing them and telling them that I'd trade lower value coupons (hell, the ones I have listed, they could have had) but was wanting to use the higher FPC's for litter trade (which I did get eventually). So I'm not greedy just looking for something specific (fyi - FCP Melitta up for trade - LOL). Trading for GC's are a great idea for high value FPC's - sometimes a girl has to support her hubby's Timmy's habit.

Like I said though I usually just take people up on their coupon bundles which for a few stamps have been pretty good. Even the people that want GC for their coupon bundles those bundles are pretty good too.

Kim why did you expire this. I hope it wasn't because of me. I was just saying I don't know much about trading for fpc's because I don't do it. I was just making the point that I only trade for coupon bundles.
