Ever since I posted this thread: http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/146769-im-scared-canada/ many of you have generously donated RAOK coupons, Gift cards and cards with wonderful wishes to me and my family. Thank you! I hesitated to post anything publicly (although all the donors were privately thanked) because I didn't want to share our misfortunes but I did want to share what others from this site have done to help us!. As promised, as soon as we're back on our feet, I will personally "pay these generosities forward" to other needy people: at shelters, our church, from this site and at other places like our soup kitchen and the Salvation Army!!

We've also been blessed with foods from a great SC friend who lives in our vicinity (you know who you are) and from the Richelieus (a group that my deceased father was a member of and that had heard about my husband and I's need for help with grocery vouchers etc...) !!!

I personally want to thank: eriluo, cmontario, Littlemoe0 and barbs! (I hope I didn't forget anyone)for their generous RAOK's.

I could go on and on about the savings (among them, cavendish french fries for $0.49, Chunky soup: $0.33 ea, Free Smart Pasta, $0.30 garden select pasta sauce, Free eggs (I forget the kind), about 12 Kellogg's cereal for less than $1.50 ea - the family size - and much much more ) but I'd be here forever!!

So there you have it! Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement, your generous donations and your forever giving hearts! We are very thankful... God bless Lynn (Troy, Victoria and Kevin)

oh Lynn i had no idea i must have missed your thread somehow do you still need some coupons? i will admit i don't have much not finding many here but if you pm with some ones that you need i can see if i have them for you please don't be shy ask away and like i said if i have what you need they are yours just let me know

Oh sorry I missed your original thread (I think i read almost everything on here, but somehow missed it). Hope things get better for you soon...BF has been off work since OCT 2009 but had a few days work here & there...but its stressful nonetheless.
But thanks to SC, SCers & coupons we are doing fine We rent & have no debt so thank goodnes for that!
Anyhow, if you need anything just ask, I have lots of coupons & can't possibly use them all....let me know what you can use! Would love to send you an envie full of goodies!

Patty, don't worry about it. You've been generous to me as a newbie (without knowing it was called RAOK) - remember the canned milk, flour, baking powder coupons you sent me with no strings attached? I do... Thanks a bunch!
