A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station.... what more can I say........

Yeah. Cats are like the Liberals and NDP.

Always squabbling, always taking what they can from those that are defenseless, only caring about themselves.

Conservatives are like dogs, but not the yappy little ones, that's the Bloq and the greens. Conservatives are the big lovable, loyal and trustworthy dogs. A loyal dog that will keep you warm on a cold winter night.

And won't let anyone take your guns away from you.

    That's frost.

He has the coldest eyes of anyone I've ever seen. Believe it or not, I see it as an attribute. This is a man on a mission. He's not some political flake like Ignatieff, he's there to do something. And so far what he's done has benefitted my lower income family tremendously. All kidding aside (and I've been kidding in this thread) he's done well by me and mine. And as long as he does that, he has my vote.

Well he has done nothing for the single income middle of the road family like mine. I am still punished for being a SAHM. The $100 a month I get for the under 5 year old is just given right back in taxes once you declare it.

Seriously though, for a moment, lol, I have never been a conservative and it has nothing to do with him it has to do with policies so whomever is at the helm for the CP would not have my vote anyways. I will give him credit for getting up on stage and playing a Beatles song though.

I don't see the Liberals winning under Ignatieff though, maybe when Justin Trudeau has been a politician long enough to lead the party or a newcomer but they just don't have any cohesion and are not trusted... and as for the other parties...

As for a gun registry, I am not for it or against it, those with a legitimate need and want for a gun should be happy to register it but I dont think for a second that it will stop any crimes, criminals will get guns somehow even if they were completely against the law (and they dont exactly use long guns anyway)

Do you also get the Child Tax Credit? Under the Liberals that monthly credit was given in place of the tax exemption for children on our yearly income tax returns. This government reinstated the exemption for children on our income tax while allowing us to also keep the CTC. That's real money for a large family. 6 or 7 grand a year I figure. I don't forget that sort of thing. And it wasn't Paul Martin or Jean Chretien who did it for us.
