Does anyone know how much a plumber would charge to install a new toilet?
I'm planning on purchasing the toilet myself. Thanks alot, any information you provide is very much appreciated.

To get a company in, it's pretty expensive.

Do you know anyone who knows a plumber? If you get it done that way, it would be much cheaper.

    Hope you find someone.

Its really easy to install a toilet. I see no reason why you couldn't do it yourself or at very least get a guy friend to do it for a case of beer lol.

as long as you remember to drain the water and shut off the tap you'd be rocking

One important rule: Toilet first, beer second.

All plumbing for me is free! Yay for having a dad as a plumber haha. I already told him he's hired as soon as my bf and I buy our first place.

I don't know the answer to your question though. Maybe call a bunch of companies and ask for a quote over the phone?

Is it a completely new one or a replacement for one that is already there?

There's a big difference. A replacement one is easier as most of the work consists of shutting the water off, disconnecting the water and removing the old one.

Here's a DIY site that will give you an idea:
