So today I took my son Yacoub 3 yrs old to play indoor soccer in a league for the first time. For the guy who is never shy and always sports today he refused to play. I think he was overwhelmed with the amount of kids and being in a soccer dome I think also freaked him out. He was stuck to me and a real pain, but when we went home he said he wanted to go back again next week so I am hoping slowly he will get used to it. Also next week they give them uniforms so that might excite him too.

The cool thing is though I met a mom there so is friends with everyone I know but somehow we have never met. Her son and Yacoub will be in private school together next year so this will also give them a chance to meet and play and get used to each other before school next September.

On a side note my little 16 month old was loving it, kicking that ball and playing more than his brother. All the moms were going nuts over him, my husband has decided to tour Europe with his son the chick magnet :)

TY for the poem made me cry too.

Has anyone here ever put insulating film on their windows to avoid cold air coming in the winter? It is kind of saran wrap or plastic you tape on the windows if there is air coming in alot. We did it last night but I am wondering how much this will help us. I am not about to replace all the windows in the house, but there is cold air always getting in. I did some research online and people says it works, but I am still a little skeptical

we have done it and are doing it again this year to help as much as possible, we cant afford all new windows, so we find it makes a difference. At least when we bought this house most of the windows werent too bad but theres the odd one thats not as new and we cover those ones.

I want to say again how sorry I am that I unknowingly posted an offensive picture. I feel victimized and very embarrassed. Thanks so much to you sweet, understanding girls for realizing that I would NEVER post something like that intentionally. This has been very upesetting. I hate being so ignorant about how the internet works. It is a shame that something so good can be tainted by people who set out to hurt and offend others. I will be posting only what I personally type from now on, and will avoid anything else.

We put plastic over the windows. Like the kind that painters use. And use tacks to hold it up. Can also cut boxes into strips and use it on the outside of the plastic to prevent more air from coming in. Here too they have this foam stuff in a spray can that we use to stop of cracks around the doors and windows.

OMG I AM SO MAD!
Someone is leaving posts saying that my belly painting is being used on the "Keepsake Castings" website. And they said to "Stop leaving votes for this one because it is a fake".

I looked on the keepsake castings website, and it IS there along with one other entry from the contest (the henna one), and if you do an image search it is on another website too, along with 2 other entries that were the first ones in the contest (the henna one, and the one that is a little messy because her older daughter did it)
We all know that images are plagarized from all over the internet to all different pages, so... does that make it ok to call someone's picture a "Fake"???

So people are leaving nasty messages on there, which makes me mad, but whatever...

I just can't figure out WHY they would mess with the older images now, since just over the past few days there have been like 20 new entries put up, and they all look nearly identical, and are all obviously from the same website, or something.

I just had to vent to all of you. That made me so mad, I almost wrote them to ask them to take my entry down. But whatever. Please don't leave any messages to the rude people on my entry, I already wrote a response, and leaving messages back and forth will just make them leave meaner messages etc.

The thing *I* know is, those people came across my image on another site because THEY were looking for images to steal to use for their own entries.


I gotta go do dishes now or something... I am never entering a P&P Contest again!

I dont know what is going on today but i jsut won 2x's on mc'ds monopoly.....I think they are trying to give away mroe prizes since it ends soon. Got 50 Coke rewards...
