Hi everyone :) I thought I would make a topic about code words for pointsandprizes.com, I'm at 17,020 points and maybe we could all help eachother out to get more points! :-)

ive never heard about this site before....did you ever win anything from it?? i prefer sites where i can redeem prizes

I havent yet since I only have 17,000 points, you need at least 20,000 to get something but I know A LOT of people that have received prizes, so this site does actually cash out ;)

Do you think it would be a good idea? You can enter 5 codes every hour and I have a lot of codes I could give out! (They expire though)

To claim the words looks like you log on and then towards the top is a link that says 'claim a word' - click that and then enter the word :)

ok figured it out now lol purple where do you find the words to get points i would like to post them here too for everyone

You can find them everywhere, along with their sponsors

Also, definitely sign up for ALL their newsletters because a new word worth 250 points + is in each one ;]


EDIT: Also, it would be great if you could make this a sticky so everyone can post words :)

I was wondering.... they say only 5 words an hour but when i try to enter in the next hour it keeps saying I already entered my words for the hour....so..... Is it every hour on the hour you can enter 5 or is it an hour after you entered the five you can enter another 5....????

its an hour after the last word you entered in your 5 words.

it's 5 per hour..if u entered 5 at 11:16 am...u have to wait til 12:16 pm to enter....1:16 pm..etc etc.
I have it as my homepage..and I enter as many words as I can.sometimes I just forget to though lol..it gets lost in the background.

I always seem to forget to do it every hour lol

please vote for Heather's 1st day of school..you have to register at the site.just click the link above. You get 50 points for every vote and 100 points if your comments are posted.The points you earn are tallied up and added to your points and prizes account. at end of contest.
I have been doing this for about 4 days now and I have an exta 2000 points coming plus if I vote each day until Aug 31(contest end) at 10 votes per day and 50 points per vote..that will give me an extra 7500 points and all you have to do is vote for "Heather" she is curently in second place and we are trying to get her into 1st.:)

you can earn points for this and future contests..u don't have to search for words just to earn points.

points and prizes is very easy to do. you earn points by finding words( on their website but most people will post them here) you enter your words( in the"claim a word" box) 5 words an hour can be entered. You can also earn points by voting in contests( left side of page click on the "Contest" bar...that takes you to sheknows and you have to sign up seperately) You can vote 10x a day you get "paid" 50 points per vote. Right now there is a back to school contest.Vote for Heathers 1st day( thanks..for a friend of mine). Points add up very fast and can be redeemed for prizes, for example I have been a member since march 07 and I have redeemed for a 30 Gift Certificate and a Temptations Cd and I am already at 40,000 points again..prizes star at 20,000 and go up. The gift certificae I got was 100,000.
