Been on line for six years now and I got this customer rep who was apparently new and after her snottily asking my info she goes Wait are you using your home fone right now?? Yes I am I replied. SHe yells MADAM YOU CANT CONNECT WHILE ON THE PHONE. SAY WHAT?? YA THINK???

YOU are a customer reps worse nightmare. I know i used to work for at&t. how many ppl have i had call from their cellphone, and expect me to be able to program it. DOH!

Thanks for your kind words everyone. No he wasn't sick. He got back from hunting last night started to not feel well and began staggering and slurring his words. My mom thought he was having a stroke. he was taken to the Bancroft hospital where he was immediately transfered to Kingston but unfortunately it was his time and he died today. Heart attack. But at least his last week he was doing what he loved, hanging out with his friends at the hunt camp. My bother, who is an undertaker, picked him up this afternoon and is cremating him. He did not want a funeral or memorial service so there will probably just be a brunch get together with immediate family to celebrate his life, and mom will scatter some of his ashes on his garden.

am so sorry tick. sure sounded like a stroke too. it was nice that he was able to go hunting and be with his friends that last time.

Andit, thanks so much for your advice on Mollie my scaredy cat dog!!! it must be working since instead of hiding behind the couch or under my my blanket under my recliner foot (scares me lol so afraid I'm going to get up fast and forget she's there), she has cuddled with me the last two days. Not sure if I'm totally thrilled with that. I use my couch as a mouse pad and she's been up against my side under my mouse arm. Right at the moment she is sprawled across my chest getting elbows and knees to the boobs every time she squirms around! I love it having her close and not hiding! She still does but least she's starting to come out a bit.

NS your doing a great job I know its not easy and can't think of another thing you could possibly do. I have a gifted nephew that used a lot of those same tactics especially the deaf one. Unfortunately my sister and her idiot husband (should of said my idiot sister also) both were so pleased with having a gifted child they let him get away with that and everything else. She'd bring him to me to watch while they would go clean offices every friday. I was in college full time, at the time a single mom with two kids the same age as hers and working, so had a lot on my plate and very little patience for some smart mouthed kid ignoring me!!! He ran past me after several times of being asked not to run in the house and being totally ignored. HE came to a dead stop though when I grabbed him by the hair as he went flying past oops probably not a recommended way to handle being ignored but it was very effective. Keep in mind this kid got little to no discipline at home (really wanted to jerk out his parents hair esp. my sister who babied him something horrible). Told him he was not at home and he would listen to me I SAID NO RUNNING IN THE HOUSE! He just stared about me when I said repeat what I just said to you. Which at that point my sister would of let it go I didn't. I kept hold of his hair not pulling but not letting him go either until he did repeat what i'd said. omg that kid never ignored me again I felt like a real lousy aunt but everyone was just amazed that he'd listen to me. lmao it was effective but probably not the best way to get through to the kid and I know with a lot of kids it would of just really made them mad. With him it was so out of his experience that he didn't know what to think of me and it was actually exactly what I needed to do to get his attention.

am so glad your dog is managaing better. andit is a gem. very smart. i love how you handled that kid. i can't tolerate other ppls kids..hell i can't tolerate mine half the time. those ones that just think they can do what they want in someone else's house!!! grr!!!

i hope mine isn't like that.

We had the ultrasound, and it is way to early to tell the sex but..
I am totally having twins!!!! OMG. OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.
No wonder I am already as big as the side of a barn. No wonder my tummy is sore all the time.
It isn't a huge shock, because there are twins in both mine and DH's family.

So glad to hear that RQ is okay. I was starting to worry but sometimes things happen in life and we just kind of "lose track of things" and get sidetracked. I know that in the last couple of weeks I haven't been myself and just didn't have the energy to really do a whole lot. I was still thinking of all my SC friends though. You are all awesome

the ratings are up? i noticed that last weekend too. i think what happens is they're entered (on the weekend) but the totalls don't rack until there's a person on the other end to tally them up. they don't work weekends i don't think. so that would make sense?

Nope, that happened when they removed the negative comments and the negative votes that went with it. The ratings change automatically as people vote.

Oh my god ! just received my scootababy carrier from P&P that I was lucky
to order 2 weeks ago !! I didn't expect to come that fast or to even
get it

because here in ottawa, that carrier cost 139$ + tax and when I order, they
only ask for 300 000 points for it !!! I thought they made I mistake and that they will cancel my order

I tried on my baby of 4 months, and it's amazing !!

So I'm very impressed with P&P...that was my first prize ordered .

"buddy" paid for rental, we have for 4 days. he has our car to fix himself. he works on airplanes, so a car should be pc of cake. has all equipment at home, and is picking up used parts (fine with me..it's a used car lol). anyway, once parts are on, figures 2 days. he will take it to a friend that professionally paints cars.

so i don't have my car written off, his insurance doesn't go thru the roof, and he's putting elbow grease in it. i think it's an excellent compromise.
