oh wow that sucks $$$wise, glad you werent in the bedroom, I was a tenant for a longtime, I think they would have to fix that right away. Though our landlord always tried to take his time doing things, unless dh went after him.
Hopefully yours is good and he fixes it fast..

that's when i noticed the ceiling paint bubbling/peeling and i always feel cold whenever i was in there.

if we were there, it would have landed on my side of the bed!

landlord's just finished coming in and out of the apartment for the past hour and a half clearing debris.
practically all our stuff from that room are now scattered in the living and dining area.
dh and i spent an hour carrying our stuff out, i think i was able to get back to sleep about 3am.

so our 2-br apartment is officially 1-br until everything is fixed which i don't know when.
i hate the damp and musty smell, yuck! i hope we don't get sick because of it.
anybody here knows what to expect as a tenant in situations like this?

Holy cow! Glad you moved rooms! Hopefully they fix it quickly. Sounds like there is a leak somewhere above the ceiling. Hope they find and fix whatever caused this.

Got to sleep in today :) Have class at 1pm today (only 2 hrs today :)). Off to waste my day in class since the teacher doesnt teach us anything.

yeah, really glad we changed rooms.

we get tax credits for payment to optometrist and prescription eyeglasses, right?
i'm actually done for 2008, just being ready for 2009 tax return :cheesygrin:

woohoo, my brand new bed was just delivered, man I hope that means a good nights sleep tonight, its not the exact bed, less pillowtop as well, but I wont care as long as I can sleep till morning and wake up without a killer back.

$$$wise, depending how long he takes you should be able to get something off rent, we were able to once with our landlord, but then i tmay be different, doenst hurt to ask though
