Ok i got a letter doen for my son for dr. to revalute him and make correct diagnosis. I would like your op's or any needed corrections.



I have concerns regarding my son. I believe that when we had a consultation on 11/17/08 , for Aiden’s initial evaluation all of his symptoms were not discussed and important information was lacking at that time. I have since obtained notes from his full time preschool pertaining to his social abilities. This is one of my utmost concerns.

Aiden shows significant weaknesses in social circumstances. This was not demonstrated to you when you initially evaluated him. He ahs tendencies to abstain form activities when he feels uncomfortable. He will separate himself from the other children and rock. Sometimes, cove ring his ears or eyes. When confronted about what is bothering him he usually has no response and will not communicate.

He also has issues interacting with other children. He gets very upset his peers will not share their toys and no amount of explanation satisfies his frustration. What I have witnessed during prechool myself was an incident with two other little boys and Aiden. They were playing with cars and one little boy smashed his car intentionally on Aiden’s hand. Aiden did nothing and resumed playing. Aiden did not show any response or expression verbally, physically, nor emotionally.

He also frequently goes to the teachers with questions and concerns regarding his peers. For instance, if Aiden is treated unfairly or his feelings are hurt he ahs no idea how to handle it and will immediately run to a teacher or aide. He simple does not know how to conduct himself properly in social situations.

I am including information you did not have when the initial assessment was made. I have obtained notes of observations made by his teachers. They are also very concerned about his actions and see a noticeable difference between him and the “norm”.

In order for Aiden to receive proper services he needs an adequate diagnosis based on the previous and newly submitted information. I thank you for taking your time to review this and appreciate your help with my son.

Been another crazy day. I actually knew the answers to Kaela's quiz, & thought I'd be able to enter the contest, but life got in the way.

Spent most of the morning talking to the patient relations person (complaints dept) of the hospital I go to regularly for my bloodwork & checks. Ditzy secretary at the clinic that looks after me messed up again & I'd had enough (she didn't enter the bloodwork req, even though I go there monthly, heck every employee at the lab knows who I am). Last month, she'd rescheduled an appt but didn't bother telling me until the night before "reminder", then when I asked about original appt, she told me she'd cancelled it, even though other secretary showed it to her on the computer. Tried to be diplomatic while complaining & offer suggestions to make life easier for all, but not sure the lady understood my perspective, kept defending the lab (I know it's not their fault, I kept telling her that!). Supposed to call me back either tomorrow or next day, after she talks to parties involved, we'll see what happens.

My dad was down at my place, so got to hang out with him, cause my mom had to go for jury duty. Couldn't go online cause I was waiting for a call.

Then my friend called just after my mom called for her chauffeur (perfect timing), so I got a ride to her work & had dinner with her. Just got home a little while ago & I'm exhausted.

Gonna be busy again tomorrow, gonna run some errands for my sick friend, while my dad hangs out with the animals at my place & my mom waits for them to tell her whether she can skip jury duty. By Wed, I'm not gonna wanna get out of bed! Hopefully the dog can share the cat's litterbox.
