Yep - when we signed the lease we were under the impression that noone was in the basement. She told us it was storage. Its her parents house but they moved to another province and noone would buy the house so their renting it. The daughter (our landlord) was there when my one roomate moved in and she told my roomae shes living there in the basement. Supposeable you can hear her downstairs cooking and walking around. Going to be one interesting year.Quote:

Ricki - maybe if you throw some wild parties, she'll move out? Of course, she might decide to join you, which could be worse. Is there anything in the lease about how many can occupy the house? I think there's a limit to how many folks can share a house - not sure if that would make things worse for you though?

Haunish - how's the job going? Are you getting into the swing of it yet? I know when I started volunteering (after not having worked for 5 yrs cause of all the health nonsense), I was shaking & came home exhausted. & these were nice people who gave me very little to do.
