This was Tuesday to be with mom, so of course, I was not near a computer ....

Just finished working 2 12-hour shifts. No time to log on at all. I really don't like those long shifts. When I finally get home, all I can do is crash. It sure shows that I'm not 20 anymore. (sigh)
I see that I've missed lots. First of all....the words. Thanks everyone for posting them and giving me a chance to catch up.
Second...Stephanie's album. What great pics of Scoob. I really love the one that you entered in the contest. And just like many others, I cried.
Now I have to go....I have some voting to do!

I was violently ill yesterday... hence my absence from the boards. Still feeling off today.

Thanks to the awesome support of you guys, my family, friends, and some other folks I don't know, we were able to finish 7th place (we made the top ten)!!

Apparently the head office is aware of cheating through hidden IP addresses and something to do with Blackberries. A lady posted: "I just wanted to let people know that I spoke with head office about the cheating that had been going on in the contest. That would include people placing multiple votes from thier Blackberry and also those who have software programs that allow people to vote multiple times without having to wait the 6 hours. Head office has assured me that they know who has been using this route for voting and that they will be disqualified from the competition. So for those of you who played fairly, don't be discouraged that at first it may seem that you are not in the Top 10."

The fact that people clicked for her over 1,000 times just overwhelms me and makes me feel so thankful and so proud.

Diesel's mom messaged me today with a very nice note saying that having lost my girl, she hopes that we win (she is in first place). I thought that was so sweet, it set me off into tears for another 45 mins or so.

I wish there was a better, more personal way to say thanks to each and every one of you for all of the words of encouragement, the unrelenting support, the PMs late at night when I was feeling extra low. Your concern and care has touched my heart. I am so grateful. I have told my family all about my new SC Family and they all think it is so cool.

I know it is a contest for free dog food... but the outpouring of care/love for my girl means so much. It is such a wonderful honour in her memory. She was literally my world. It's so nice to know others cared about her, and about me without her.

A few folks have even donated to the Brantford SPCA in her memory and it has just been so heartwarming.

I'm alone and crying again. But thank you all.
