you should have heard from several members of a forum i belong to. Our forum has hit over 500,000 views. we have alot of members. We use the thread to discuss p&p/sheknows contests. We support each other.
Many of us are not happy with the recent turn of events. (as my hubby pointed out in his email earlier).
Hoping to be the voice of reason, I want to point out, that what's ticking everyone off, is that nothing was done when they were jyped pts. we all let it slide figuring you guys would eventually reimburse them. the prizes are earned and come in a timely manner, life was good.
but some ppl have not rec'd pts for contest they participated in a year ago! i can't speak for them, i only joined around may or june. i haven't rec'd any of my pts, neither did the rest of my family or friends.
moving on.
as i was saying. the contests are always flawed. but in your favor. we never could comment on them and unlimitedly and get the 50pts. 5 comments was the max. but the voting was unlimited (the bug). well, what was the difference? unlimited comments or unlimited votes? nope you guys had to go and change it to 10 comments and 10 votes max.
and still your not happy. you feel that we all took advantage of the system, racking up pts and now are threatening to suspsend accts?
good grief. consider the fact how many pts ppl are owed for entering nuemerous contests x1000 for each entry. the unlimited comments for these numerous contests x 50 and 10 votes per day x50 pts for these numerous contests for however long they ran for.
do you really believe that we owe you points?
now to be totally fair, you would have to go back to the first buggered contest, and award all the pts you owe for entering, voting everyday, and commenting everyday. go through all the contests. once those are finally added on, then subtract off the ones that were awarded in error.
but keep in mind. they still are allowed the unlimited comments, 10 votes per day and the 1000 pts for entering up to the day that you ppl changed the rules to 10 comments, 10 votes.
so abide by your own rules and process the pts in order that they were earned starting with the very first contest.
then and only then will it be deemed fair by all parties involved.
