1st off, sure blame us for everything incl the weather (what american said they were getting a canadian cold front?)...we're usually warm and hospitable

pf: hang in there. she'll go when she's ready. i know it's hard on everyone but there's something she's waiting for maybe it'll become obvious. my dad was like that. in meantime, shuddup bout poutine.

i'm sick with the dang flu (AGAIN) too, donno how it passed pf. hubby has it as well. so far seems to be missing ryan (AGAIN). can't complain no one needs a sick kid even tho it slows them down a bit.

so sorry, for cakes collapsing, stoves breaking, oh and for aph not being allowed to slam doors.

Wanna borrow the dog? She does laundry - although she refuses to sort whites and dark colours. She'll even pick stuff up off the floor. Her favourite is washing dishes.

The cat might help with dishes, if the contents are tasty. Otherwise he's a typical male who refuses to help around the house.

Neither one can type, though. Although the cat does love to misfile things by sending papers everywhere.

nooooo you keepa quiet aph. i already did that virus scan after that idiot one antivirus 2009 tried to get in. the time is right now. just wondering if maybe i thought it was later than it was when i was up. i donno..

i got 15 lbs of carrots to blanch. UUUUUUGGGGHHHH bring yer peelers and pots and gimme a hand. why do i do this stuff to myslef? i have r/c for europe's best, and would only cost me like $1. but NOOooooo i had to buy em cause they were on for .99c. then call my mom...and when she says, welll..i'll just take one bag, cause you can't freeze em right? i had to tel lher you can if you blanch them first..oh would u mind doing up a bag..no mom..i'd be more than happy to...

why the hey didn't i get the 10lbs of onions when they went for 2.99????? food processor..> straight into ziplock ---> straight to fridge. wham bam thank you MA'AM!

so if you don't hear from me, you'll know i'm either cleaning up the kitchen so i have a sink to put a really large bowl of icewater in, or clearing the clutter off my counter so i have some place to put the carrots while waiting for them to go in th epot. or crying at the table because i bit off more than i can chew again

Well is was a good morning until just now, I took a call and it was about my car. I took it in to get fixed, the muffler was making noise. Also a bunch of other stuff went so there goes another $1700. I will be so happy for this year to end!!

I would like to comment on the stuff I read in here, but all my comments just went out of my mind. I am going to crawl into my little hole and pretend my life is going great.

seek, wake up will ya. THERE'S 15 LBS !!!! i ain't eating 15 lbs of nothing that don't have cheese on it.

anyway, i did get one batch blanched. some are done in kinda like circles but on an angle, so i can boil, stirfry, throw em in soups stews. some i left in like 3" lenghts for boiled dinner..glazing with the br sugar someone is going on about.. lol. etc.

i'm leaving 5 lbs raw, i might make something, donno what yet. like a cake, or muffins...

My my my. Well Im thankful for all those wonderful thoughts yesterday. In fact, they made me so cheery that it brought back a very embarrassing at the time, but funny now moment in time.(time does that!) and Im going to share it because I can't stop laughing about it now. When I was younger, I was quite "fiesty" ! DH had gone into the bank to do some business. I decided I didn't want to wait in the car, so I walked into the bank and there he was ... his back to me, standing at the teller cage. I walked up right behind him and grabbed his ass (a reall handbull!) He turned around ... it wasn't my DH! I just turned and walked straight for the exit! never said a word, and I never turned around ...............ROFL

Off topic, but how did your Hallowe'en cadet party go NS? We have our guide party tomorrow night...I'm going as Fiona from Shrek...still working on the correct shade of green!

Thanks for the laugh kekes - needed today - at work and don't want to be here. I figure some day I'll come into work with an onion and a bowl of water and tell them I'm making onion soup and they will send me home for extended sick leave - what plans I won't think of to be off work - lol
