CT rant - Customers being ripped off on the PST

lol yeah I did... I didn't know about this. I don't look at receipts that closely and just assumed that tax is tax and you get charged regardless of how much they are.

I called the retail sales office and they will be looking into it and getting back to me. I told them about the item in the flyer this week that will likely result in customers being mischarged so that can check it on an actual item. Their office is in the same city as the stores that I had problems with so it makes it easier to follow up on.

as said, once the hst goes through, you will be charged both taxes like all other provinces that have PST.
