I met a lady who works for the London Food Bank today, and she told me that their most needed item is Baby Formula.
Well...now that's got me on a mission. It's been many-a-long-day since I've bought baby formula - - and I would be some surprised to ever have to buy it again
..... but I would like to know how to spot a very good deal, so that I can contribute to the food bank when possible.
So, please wise SCers, educate me on baby formula deals! This thread is currently associated with: N/A

Walmart has crazy deals on Parent's Choice brand a few times a year. Look for the bonus size. I think a good price would be $15 per large can. I used Enfamil and a good deal for that brand was $23.

There are plenty of coupons for formula floating around probably anywhere from 2-10$. I found store brand was cheaper, but you rarely find coupons for store brand products. I agree with the previous poster. There are many companies that offer mail-outs, most of which include a formula sample and coupons. Good Luck!

Everyone seems to buy the ones with dha ara right now. They are much more costly($30ish) then basic formula($20ish). Over the last couple weeks Loblaws/Fortinos and RCSS ON have had the store brand on during the half price sale. Unfortunately I think it's over. It was $7.99/can. THAT IS AN AMAZING PRICE!!! Maybe you could do some trades. I think there used to be $10 Heinz nurture coupons out there and the formula is on sale for $16.99 at walmart so it would be a steal. Sometimes Walmart sells the store brand in twin packs of 2 large cans for a pretty good price. Hope this helps.

save.ca has $5.00 off coupons for the Heinz nurture formula.
I've got 2 sitting here you can have, though one of them expires Oct 11th. But you're in London and so am I, so surely to heavens Canada post could get them there before the expiry date.
if you want them, pm me with your address and I'll get these in the mail pronto.

Heinz formula goes on at Walmart quite often for $16.99, $5 off coupons are pretty common. So about $10 for a 900g (I think) container.
I use GoodStart but I will swap to Heinz in a pinch as my daughter seems to be able to go from one to the other without a hiccup.

Welll....since I can't stack, I resort to store brands. I have used the regular old Parents Choice powder from WM. About 4-6 times a year their 1kg size containers go on sale at between $9-$10 a can. It's a huge savings. I budget to buy 12 cans whenever the sale is on...and it normally easily does me from one sale to the next.
I think they just had this price on during the anniversary sale. For the first time, I saw them set a limit of 4 per purchase!

The SDMs are redoing their baby supplies. DH was there and scored Good Start Omega formula for $9.99/can. He also got the yellow can of Follow Up for $9.99/can. There was jars of baby food for 10 cents as well as Avent sippy cups for $1.99 for a pack of two.
I just sent him back for more formula and supplies for a food bank donation.
So check your Shoppers Drug Marts there may be some deals there.
