Help Me Clarify the Hamburger Helper Coupon?

I bought 6 boxes of Hamburger Helper with the Green Giant coupon on it. Coupon says "redeem this coupon with the purchase of one hamburger helper dinner kit and receive one free bag of green giant veg".

So does this mean I have to buy another box of HH? Or does it just mean that I had to buy this box to get the coupon and then I get the veg?

I don't want to look like an idiot going up to the cashier with just a bag of veg and then be told I need to also buy the HH!

Oh man! That's a lot of hamburger helper! I saw some more boxes with the free veg on them somewhere...now I wish I could remember where!

I did this. I bought 1 box on sale with a cents off coupon. went to the car, and cut off the veg coupon, went back in and bought 1 more box, with another cents off coupon and got the bag of free veg. repeat. lol

I agree, I used the .50 off when the HH was on sale and got the veggie coupon, then went back and got more(while it was still onsale, with some more .50 cent coupies) and got some free corn woop woop lol

I plan on doing the same as walkonby...and i have the coupons to boot.. will be donating the veggies to the local food bank...it's that time of yr either u eat or freeze

I have one here. The way I understand is buy 1 HH and get 1 bag of Green Giant veggies free.
Is that not right?
