thank you everyone for your nice comments about my kitchen
I bought my house a year and a half years ago from a builder so I had a choice to choose the colours for my kitchen cabinets, hardwood floor, tiles, etc. I even asked the builder to open 2 extra windows in my living room that didn't have any windows it cost me $1500 extra but I don't like when the house is dark.

i am back got the guestroom ALMOST finished - put up the blinds and curtains after much fussing i figured out how to use the drill AND put in those thingies ... uhh ... WALL PLUGS!

and i went to hellmart and got some stuff for the Bub-Cave

isn't it incredible? so much less $ than an entire gut job. just put on new faces, they refinish the SIDES of your cabinets so everything matches, new counter top (if needed) and you have yourself a major upgrade
