Haha... I haven't bought ketchup in a few years... I don't use ketchup often, and when I do, I have bags of ketchup that I saved from my fast food runs...

I don't bother to squeeze them into a bottle though... Just rip a packet and use when I need it!

Eating less - have definitely done that!

Sure we use packets of ketchup - and especially now, try to get dips and sauces whenever we get takeout. I haven't bought soy sauce in ages, because there's usually just enough for cooking from our monthly takeout.
Same with plastic forks - one place has ones sealed in plastic, so I save those to use.

oh! I have to start using these techniques to save a little more. For kids lunch i do use the plastic forks or spoons from Timmy's.

Digging in Cemetary dumpsters for artifical flowers?!? Oh my! That one creeped me out! I don't smoke... but I like the one about the woman putting aside $3 every day. I do that, too... $5/day goes in a container.. then when I need something that is a bigger purchase, it's there.

I don't know if I could eat less! I mean I could eat less in terms of rice, bread, etc. but it's usually the good stuff that's expensive (like cheesecake, or ice-cream) and would save me money if I stop consuming them..hahah

I don't smoke, never did so luckily don't know much about saving money that way. I hear it can be significant regardless of how much you smoke (and being an ICU nrs I see the effect is has on your life in other, more costlier ways).
I frequent the recycle bins at times to find the discarded coupies, cereal boxes, etc. Have personally never ate from dumpsters but I know of freegans out there. I guess as long as it can be washed......
But as for dumpster diving in a graveyard......EEWWWWWWW. You don't know what else has been in there!!!! Not to mention the slight ethical delema of taking things from the dead. It's one thing if auntie Sally gave you her jewlery, but this is one step away from taking out of the casket.
