Okay I think I figured out what happens at 75k
<table style="width: 320px; height: 370px;" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><td class="optimum_header" align="center">Shoppers Optimum® Rewards</td> <td background="../images/frm5.gif">

By saving more points you are able to redeem more
if you had 75,000 points but redeemed everytime you were at 7000 you would have earned almost 11 gifts cards of $10 but if you redeem when you are at 75000 you get a gift card of $150.
On bonus redepmtion night 75000 points equal to a $200 gift card.
Am I right?

Sort of right
You actually don't get a gift card, you need to spend the money in the store the day of the bonus redemption, and if you don't spend the amount, you don't get the difference (i.e. if you came up with spending $185, you kind of "lose" the extra $15 you could have spent, they don't give you a gift card for the difference or anything).
It's a GREAT deal though (getting the $200 redemption rather than the $150, so I would wait for one, and just plan out what you are going to spend it on beforehand (i.e. as someone mentioned, getting something large like a camera or Wii or something)

you have to be a plus member if u want to redeem your points on redmeption day?if yes then (for example)i wont be able to be a plus member til dec 31 but i m gonna participate in every 20x,15x or tell a friend event so i can earn lots of point.in this situation if i will redeem my points for $150 of free stuff i think it will be a great idea.
what you say am i right?
who redeem points on redemption day they got 10,000 points back in there acount .
are those regular points?
they dont have to worriee about plus status?

No, you don't have to be a plus member to redeem your points as long as you have enough points (ie. redeem 75000 points for $100) Also don't just buy stuff for the points, be careful about their catch. SDM normally has high prices than other stores like Walmart, Zeller even pharma plus.
I only buy stuff when is on sale (good enough sale), otherwise we still lose. For example, SDM normally has sales on O'LREAL skin care (Total effect) for $25.99. Although it is on sale, the price is still higher than walmart's normal price of $21.99.
I hope this helps, and good luck!

I usually avoided shoppers for the over pricing but I saw everyone grab great deals on things and free stuff with their points so I opted to try for 2010

I really appreciate everyone's hints and comments about shopping at SDM!!
I have signed up for the Tell a Friend event, and (now) am planning on saving up those points as much as possible.
So, how often do they hold bonus redemption nights in a year? Once? Twice?
