Somehow I have two bids lost right now. I feel bad but know that they are in the mail. In a situation like this, how long should I wait before sending a replacement, if needed?

I wait a month... I've mailed things that made their way over as though a snail personally delivered it. No explanation no nothing.
Some people also can't get to a PO daily. Mine's literally less than 500ft from the house so unless it's piss pouring rain (or plain old lazy, which happens sometimes lol) I have access.
Where I used to live the PO was a PITA to get to and the hours were crap so I'd only go 2x a week. Wed's and Sat's. If I traded with you Saturday afternoon, your envy was only getting mailed the following Wed... (Of course I forewarned mind you)
Now if you've not been able to reach the trader, that's touchy. If they've been online and no contact... that's their problem. Take the neg rating and suck it up.
You can always change it after and leave a neutral or something. Don't lose sleep over it. If you've honored your end and attempted contact more than once then you've done your part. It's up to the other trader at this point you know?
