Earl, 10 weeks old

We got Earl just yesterday for our son. He got his name because he was born as Hurricane Earl hit Halifax this summer. Not sure if we're gonna keep his name, but it seems to fit him!

Story: Socks can wait with a treat on his muzzle for about a minute before he loses patience. He will wait until you turn around and try to take the treat! Funny lil guy doesn't know that's what we use peripheral vision for!

my beautiful furr baby Jezz....she is 9yrs old...I never planned to get her but took her in from an abusive home :( took almost ayear for her to come around an lotsa lovin..8 1/2 years later she is very vocale loving playful kitty...with a tad of attitude LOL

Priscilla is 18 years old and deaf. She likes sleeping, eating, and sleeping :) I caught this photo when she was yawning, she is not nearly as viscious as this picture makes her out to be!!! Although i kind of think it looks like she's laughing in this photo :)

- Picture: This was a lazy afternoon, he was basking in the sun, I called his name to take a photo and this is what he gave me. :P
- Benny is the most precious cat I have owned. He is so loving and his meow sounds like a baby. When I am on the phone and he wants attention, he "crys" and I am always asked "Oh do you need to tend to your baby?" LOL He sleeps at the top of my head on my pillow everynight, and if I have wet hair from a shower he will chew on it until I wake up. :P

I took a picture while he was sleeping-as you see he woke up! We lost our cat Bella last November, she was only 3. It broke our hearts and Oreo's heart(my other cat). We started a jar to save up for a new kitten. Well lo and behold we were not done saving and I fell in love with Simba!!!! He was at Petsmart for the Halton SPCA. He is part ragdoll and as you can see he's very fluffy!! When I picked him up he licked my nose and start purring really loud. It was :love: at first sight.

Title: Shelties VS the "Octopus-with-a-ball"
Pet Names: Focus and Echo
Relationship: My sheltie girls

Story: These are my goofy shelties, 9 year old "Focus" and 3 year old "Echo". They are best friends to eachother and my best friends too!
They love to play toys together, and I was able to capture them playing with their Octopus-with-a-ball!
The Octopus-with-a-ball ended up winning, as he didn't loose any hair, limbs, or stuffing, during the duration of the playtime, AND still has the ball attached too! But the shelties agree that one day soon, they will be victorious in detaching that ball!! :)

Story - The is my best friend and baby girl Lily. Her nickname is Boo-boo. She is a Chinese Crested Powderpuff and she's almost 9 years old (her birthday is January 7th). She loves cuddles. Any time I sit down she is right there wanting "uppies". She also loves "killing" her stuffed toys and ripping the stuffing out of them.

I had a beautiful shepherd who did the same thing with my furr ball Emilie !! I had been in the hospital when Emilie was very tiny and Erika(doggie R.I.P<3) adopted her. when I came home from the hosp and brought my kitty home both of them missed each other so Emilie moved back to my moms and they were best buddies !

- Your relationship to the things or place involved in the image: Tank was a birthday present given to me by a friend. I adopted her were she was 9 weeks old and she knows how to sit, stay, shake hand and high-five on command!
- A cute short story about the picture: This photo was taken on a Monday morning, while we were both lounging around in the hallway of my house. Yep, we like to lay on the floor and relax while the sun beams down, warming us while we lounge. The lighting was just right so I snapped a handful of photos that came out quite nice. I'm lucky that she's used to having the camera around and is patient!

My grandbaby dog "Tie" came to visit me at my cottage one very hot summer day, and being a chocolate lab and hot, found the best place to cool off was sitting IN the bird bath in my garden. He found it to be quite refreshing. Notice how how content he looks. ;)

Story: My name is Molly, but you can call me Smeech. I may look mean, but I am really an oversized chihuaha at heart. I am a bit of a diva, as I will only eat certain foods, i hate laying on the floor(i prefer couches and beds), I LOVE to mooch food, and i break out into hives in the spring. So i guess you could say I am a bit high maintenace, but my family loves me regardless =) arent I cute? P.S I was enjoying the afternoon in the park watching the ships go by in my photo!

Autumn's Christmas Picture (doesn't she look impressed)

- Story: Autumn was my first 'help I have fallen in love with a cat at the shelter and need her' cat. She was feral and brought to the shelter with her kittens but was not happy and became more aggressive so was not allowed out of her cage but I used to let her out and she came to trust me. When she hopped up next to me on the chair I knew I had to take her home. Now she is a little princess, and even let me dress her up for her Christmas picture to send to the person who brought her to the shelter
