This Morning I took dd to Giant Tiger to spend a GC she got for Xmas. I used it as a learning experience to try to teach her about money. Shes only 3 1/2 but she quickly understood the difference between getting one big $30 toy vs a bunch of smaller cheaper items. She opted for cheaper items that she still loved. This is what she chose.

all together it was about $35 after tax. We did go $5 over budget but that was because I wanted her to get the matching pants for the hoody.

I picked up a couple of LEATHER belts at GT for DH for $2.99!!!!!! I dont know if it was a sale or clearance but there was a huge rack of them and a lot of style and size selection.

Disney princess story telling alarm clock radio Reg $59.99 on clearance for $29.99. My mom wanted to get this for dd for her 4th bday cause she wanted it from Santa but at pre-christmas price he couldnt afford it. I had to grab it for her right away cause they were packing up all the christmas stuff. DID YOU KNOW THEY THROW AWAY THE CHOCOLATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats what the merchandiser told me. The non-perishables get packed away and the perishables that dont sell get thrown out.
