Well, I was going to go get my Christmas shopping started today and now I'll also have to fit in some Metro paper scrounging. As reported by cesme77, there is a $2 off 2 dozen eggs coupon in the free paper. In the Vancouver edition it's on page 26. This seems like a good one. Good to March 31 '11!

I just went to their website (eggs.ca) and left a message asking them to confirm that this coupon is usable on ANY brand of fresh, in shell eggs. I'll post when I hear back from them. That does appear to be what the coupon says.

Wow a coupon for eggs that would have been amazing. I have to get my head out of the clouds and start paying attention to these things. I am living right beside a skytrain station right now, it would have been so easy to grab a bunch of Metros .

Moving has made me all slow and confused obviously .

That's good to hear. Was it this one? I picked this one up from a rep at Safeway about a month ago. My theory is that a lot of coupons that reps give out are eventually generally available from store shelves some time later. Haven't tried this variety out yet.

So I'm guessing that they are not good on turtle eggs then?

Correct. They are very specific. The coupons are eggsclusive to soft shell eggs like the ones that have little baby turtles in them. Another eggsample is they are also not good on Faberge eggs because although they are hard shell, they are not fresh. But then, two dozen Faberge eggs would be quite eggsciting to find under or on the tree on Christmas morning, wouldn't it?

I am wondering about duck eggs, though. And what are those other little speckled eggs that are used on or in gourmet dishes... partridge eggs or something?
