Here is what I was up to before and after my SDM shop today

This is the cover recipe from February's Chatelaine and is a Triple Chocolate Cheesecake. The only alterations I made was added chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate wafers for decoration, used PC chocolate cream cheese and baked it for 30 minutes longer than the recipe said to.
I put myself through 7 years of university by working in a bakery and bake all sorts of goodies in my spare time and I was testing this recipe to see if it will be a winner for Valentines' Day.
It has yet to be tasted (that will happen after supper!), however, so far, so good...
Hope I made you drool

I looked at that cake on the cover - my husband is the cheesecake baker in this house - love the idea of strawberries on top. Be great with blackberries and raspberries too.

Funny you say that! I was going to add a shot of the Caramilk liqueur into the batter but DH had drank it all unbeknownst to me, so this cheesecake is booze free, but maybe next time, I will try that and make my homemade caramel sauce instead of the chocolate ganache! Great Idea!
