Wowzaz over $7 for 4L!!!!:shock::shock::shock: I don't know how we would afford that! My 10 yr old brother alone drinks a little over 2, 4L jugs of milk per week. Thats expensive here even when it is on sale for $3.99 a jug! And then about 1 4L for the rest of the family's cereal and coffee... ($12 per week if all on sale).:-)Quote:

I'm in south-west Nova Scotia and milk is outrageous here too. I get mine at Zellers for $6.29 (everyday prince) instead of paying the $7.49 at Sobeys or Superstore. They have a cooler just as you go in the door at my Zellers in Yarmouth with milk but have no other refrigerated or frozen foods. Also, I can sometimes get it cheaper at Shoppers Drug Mart if it's on sale.Quote:

Thanks for the tips :top: But the closest Zellers is 2 hrs away and my SDM is just a small one with no grocery.They do carry milk but just in the 2L size and the prices are the same as the grocery stores.:(Quote:
