$1.99 Got Me $135.27 In Grocerys:)Sobeys,Walmart & Atlantic Superstore

Today DH and I went on a little road trip to the next town over.First people I run into are fellow SCer's hogama and shooter. So nice to talk to others who understand me and my obsession with coupons.:P
Here is what I scored:
Walmart
14x $5.63 Rice Krispies -7x $1 coupons & 14x $5 gas MIR's = $0.13 each
Atlantic Superstore
4x $1 Wonder English Muffins -4x $0.75 coupons = $0.25 each
1x $3.69 All Bran bars - 50% pink sticker and $0.50 coupon= $1.35
Sobeys
8x $0.49 Campbell's cream soup - 4x $1 WUB2 coupons = FREE!!
3x $11.99 Melitta Coffee - 3x FPC's = FREE!!
1x $3.29 Melitta filters - FPC = FREE!!
1x $2.79 Stoffers entree - FPC = FREE!!
1x $2.79 Stoffers Bistro - FPC = FREE!!
I was so happy to finally find Rice Krispies with the gas codes on them.I will share them with my sister. As you can see Lily loves they as well!! While at Sobeys I decided to cash in a bunch of my FPC's because it was multiply your miles weekend.I ended up leaving with 4x the Air Miles for a total of 44!! That equals $6.16 back when I cash in for gift cards. So when you look at everything in the picture I ended you making $1.99 for over $135.27 worth of grocery's!! Can you just imagine life without coupons??? I sure would be broke!! :lolsign:

you paid $5.63.. k technically you didn't. but they were priced that in the store. ours were $4.38. but it stated in the flyer $3.97. i had $1 off coupons as well. just wondered y they were so $$

I bought rice krispies last week just for the game coupons. hahaha. Kiddies won't eat the cereal for breakfast. Now I just need a sale on marshmallows and butter. ;)

I have been looking for them since the promo started with no luck and usually would not pay this much for cereal but it was a super deal once you get the MIR. Since it was in the next town I couldn't wait for a better price to price match because that package would be gone.:( Not sure why the different price from Ontario I guess it is like the milk prices.CRAZY!!We pay over $7 for 4L. That is $60 a month for milk for our family and there is never coupons for the kinds that are sold here.:(

I know the prices here in Nova Scotia make me sick.In our town the price of a 4L jug is $7.49 and we only have Scottsburn and Farmers which I have never seen coupons for.:(

Wowzaz over $7 for 4L!!!!:shock::shock::shock: I don't know how we would afford that! My 10 yr old brother alone drinks a little over 2, 4L jugs of milk per week. Thats expensive here even when it is on sale for $3.99 a jug! And then about 1 4L for the rest of the family's cereal and coffee... ($12 per week if all on sale).:-)

I'm in south-west Nova Scotia and milk is outrageous here too. I get mine at Zellers for $6.29 (everyday prince) instead of paying the $7.49 at Sobeys or Superstore. They have a cooler just as you go in the door at my Zellers in Yarmouth with milk but have no other refrigerated or frozen foods. Also, I can sometimes get it cheaper at Shoppers Drug Mart if it's on sale.

I don't know where you live in CB but it might be worth checking out those two paces if you're close by either one. Also, check out Irving - they did at one time have 2l for $3.29 so that would be cheaper than the $7.49 at the grocery stores.

Thanks for the tips :top: But the closest Zellers is 2 hrs away and my SDM is just a small one with no grocery.They do carry milk but just in the 2L size and the prices are the same as the grocery stores.:(
