Soft Moc National Shoe Drive: Help Survivors of the Haitian Earthquake Disaster!

Well, I ended up collected 131 pairs of shoes. When I took all of the bags of shoes into Soft Moc Thursday night the girl asked if I was the one from Canada Post, lol.

Soft Moc collected over 60,000+ pairs of shoes in just 1 week! They are taking more donations for the next week, until January 29th (1-5pairs per person) so take advantage of this if you were unable to go the past week.

i actually went to my local Soft Moc today to donate 5 pairs of shoes, the lady there told me the event ended yesterday, but she said she would be happy to take them to the local collection center herself. such a nice lady!

They should have accepted any size of donation up until close yesterday. As of now, they are only able to accept small donations (1-5 pairs) until January 29th, 2010.

If you have large donations you are asked to take or ship them to the wharehouse in Whitby, Ontario.

They should have taken your donations at Masonville though if you went there yesterday!

I'll have to try again, I had two large bags and was kind of upset that she said that...I cant afford to ship them so maybe I'll have to take a few trips.
