LOL! I would laugh at them! You should get the airmiles. The store still gets the money for the items lol. I love how it makes people angry when you get a good deal. It's always amusing how you never know if they're going to get upset or congratulate you. The system is programmed to give your the airmiles, and it's the same at Metro.
I'd go back and do it again for fun lol. Tell them you spoke to head office and told them you are planning to back, and that they told you if there any any further issues they will be contacting the store lol. Tell them you were told they are required to give you SPC discount. Make something up
. And if they call you a cheater, I would SOOO cause a scene lol. That's grounds for scene causing in my books lol.

They get their money back and they sent you the coupons! I know it seems extreme sometimes but only a small percentage of people know how to do it so people don't understand.

Actually they are supposed to remove all the tax on FPC's now. New government decision. But that's a whole other argument to get into with the cashier if they don't know about it yet lol.

The airmiles should be automatic. I do this at IGA where I get 1 airmile for every $20 spent. I use coupons and FPC and brings total down and I still get airmiles. They can't take that away from you. I think the only way they can take airmiles away from you is if they void transaction, but since you paid already, too bad for them.

As per my understanding they want to discourage coupon users so we don't go there. I went there to get reach tooth brush a week back and when I tried to use reach coupon they charged me regular price not the sale price, I took my coupon back and said good bye.

SPC is only for regular priced items at Rexall. So items on sale like the Nature Valley won't get it... but ya, anything bought at regular price.. yes.

Go back again and do it... lol!!

WOW that's terrible, sorry to hear that.
ILOVECOUPONSALOT and jignap, I think you should both contact headquarters and tell them how badly you were treated. We're apparently getting a rexall here pretty soon, and if they do that to me I certainly will be.
