Winnipeg Free Press flyers

Hello!

I have a question regarding flyers found in the Winnipeg Free Press. Several years ago I used to have a subscription with them and received many flyers/inserts on a regular basis. Currently I am not subscribed, but instead buy the paper at my local store, except there are hardly, if any flyers in them. I was actually surprised at the new layout of the Sunday paper I just picked up this week as I was used to the big foldout one.

My question is, do you get more flyers via subscription versus buying from the store? Is there a difference or does the free press not put many flyers in their paper anymore?

I live in an apartment which means I don't receive any separate flyer deliveries and have to rely on the newspaper for them.

Any advice would be wonderful!

I have a 6 day subscription to the Free Press and get loads of flyers. I'm not sure about buying the individual paper in store as to how many flyers you get since I haven't done that for years. Monday you rarely get flyers. Wednesday to Friday you receive the majority. Saturday a few.

We don't get a paper on Sunday. I think they were cutting back, maybe due to budget. There's some small paper you can buy on Sunday but we don't bother.

Usually there is a coupon for the Sunday paper (Free) in the Saturday Free Press.

I get the Saturday/Sunday paper (one paper per weekend) and flyers on Wednesday evening. If you're in a block, I don't know how you would get those, but those are the bulk of what I get. Sometimes I get coupons with my flyers and the same ones on the Saturday...My parents don't get flyers and are subscribed to the 6 day service.

I subscribe to the paper for Thus, Fri, Sat so I can recieve the flyers and the coupons when they come out as you can't always find the coupon booklets in papers you buy off the shelf.....I live in a highrise but we don't get flyers of any type delivered to us...when ever I used to buy papers off the shelf there was rarely flyers in them except for furniture .....
