I finally built up the courage to do my leg (one leg so far - lol) tonight. Its not that bad. Kind of like a slap sting.

I have been trying mine off and on for the last week, and two nights ago I finally got the courage to keep pushing through and do it for like 10 minutes straight on my legs. I realized that the most painful place to do it for me so far is the front of my legs, where I tried it first. It still isn't pleasant, but isn't as bad other places. I do find that I might be doing it wrong, because my legs aren't silky smooth. I'm going to keep trying it and see how things go before giving an 100% judgment, but if it doesn't shape up and start pulling all the hairs rather than breaking some, I don't know if I will keep using it. Hope you ladies are having more success than I am!

Same here on the non silky legs. I find it gets a lot of the hair, but then about half, or less than half it just cuts them, which is practically like shaving. I plan to keep using it to try and get the rest, but it's frustrating to see stubble there
I thought i was doing it wrong also

I received mine last week and love it so much I bought my mom one for Christmas. It does hurt, and it takes more time than a razor but it lasts much longer and my skin is so smooth!

Hello SmartCanuck members, this is Pete from BzzAgent. To anyone reading the first post in this thread (with the screenshot of the Philips SatinPerfect Epilator campaign invitation), who is not familiar with BzzAgent - this is a campaign run by us, and was only open to members of BzzAgent, and the campaign is full. Please don’t contact Philips about joining the campaign! If you don’t know what BzzAgent is all about, visit us at bzzagent.com – we’d love to have you join us for future campaigns.

I finally tried mine today. OUCH! I tried before a shower and then after and I must say the after was better. I also put a bit of lotion on first since my legs are dry this time of year. I did find it really uncomfortable but I pushed through to finish 1 leg (the lower half only
). Maybe it's just me but I find it hurt more with the "longer hairs" than the shorter ones
. I also found that they were not the silky smooth that I have heard others experience
but I am not about to give up. I will try some more and see if it gets better.
BTW another tip would be to take a big glass of rum and eggnog minus the eggnog before using

lol.....that was funny.
....but you know its surprising the campaign was open to lots of people even after it showed up as full to a lot of others.i guess thats what made them contact philips....that and the razor.lol
I have a philips epilator at home too......but i guess mine is different from this one coz mine hurts...I used to wax earlier and it was definitely less painful because it was atleast in one go...this goes on and on till atleast you get used to it.but i must admit i put off my epilating sessions till i can possibly without becoming an ogre
I have bought an android tablet, its cover+stand, textbooks from amazon using search and wins
