They do not count toward your total of 75$. They get entered under a different code than regular coupons.

You can certainly use them but don't expect them to count as purchases toward your $75 needed for the 20x BP.

I made a mistake a while ago and used the B1G1 FPC's the cashier screwed up and deleted the first item that i was supposed to pay for and then use a different code and I got the second item free. In the end I got both products for free but I didn't get my points either. It just buggers everything up so now I don't use them anymore on bonus weekends.

What if you make them hit the total and then you give them your Optimum card to swipe and then you pull out the fpcs.... ? do you think the points will be modified still?

Doesn't make a difference, FPCs are classed as discounts and regardless of whether they scan at the beginning or end the computer only computes the points at the end

I got points when I used FPC coupons. Depends whether they are entered under code 2001 or 2002. I learned this from someone on this forum.
It will also depend on your tax laws for your province. In New Brunswick, even though the coupon states free or that taxes are included, tax must be charged according to our provincial tax laws therefore the coupon is coded as 2001 and counts for points.
Here is the thread where I show the breakdown of how I got points:

How about the use of coupons in general? Like a dollar off, does that count towards the total?
