Can we have an SDM Sticky?

Hello all:

I was thinking we need a sticky for Optimum points, to help those who are new to the program.

There's so much stuff that those of us who have been using Optimum for years may know, but the newer folks may not. Such as:

- how you earn Optimum points on SDM gift cards (but not cards for other retailers that are sold in SDM)

- gift card purchases are generally not part of bonus point promotions

- which provinces give points on prescriptions

- exceptions to what earns points

- how to check your points balance online

- how to transfer your points to someone else (such as your DH's for example)

I'm sure there's tons more I haven't thought of.

There is a thread of frequently asked questions.
I have previously thought that would be great if it was stickied.
There has been a lot of the same questions over and over again. More so in the past few weeks.
Makes it hard to see the real SDM deal threads.

I was thinking the same thing. The same questions are being asked over and over again, especially as of late, and a sticky would certainly be great.

Great idea! I also have to keep searching for that and CarlyinCanada's "BP for SDM Look Here" post which she diligently keeps updating. Being able to share, makes it so much easier.

Lots of info to learn about SDM points!! I try to keep up the BP thread as there are so many offers to keep track of!!

If someone could create a thread that has links to the threads that answer questions like Zonny has highlighted above, we could sticky that one thread. But a multitude of stickies would be a no, it gets too cluttered.

But its pushed so far down I can't find it & ofcourse search option isn't finding it.

I agree with FallenPixels, the Q&A thread is quite thorough, and stickying that one should save a lot of new, redundant question threads.
