This is day 4 of waiting to get my windows washed. Between the rain & the wind, the poor fellow hasn't had a chance to do his work. The sad part is, with all the construction around here, I'll be lucky if my windows are clean for a day.

I was very happy to learn that Sam got adopted to a nice home on Friday. When I was there a girl and her boyfriend were trying to make up their mind who to adopt and I just found out they decided on Sam. Sam is 10 years old and has been there since October because his owner passed away. I'm very happy for him. No animal should spend that much time in a shelter, but some do

They have improved the shelter, not taking in sooo many animals so the staff has more time to spend with the individual animals, but they still need homes. They have enlarged the cages by putting two together and making a space the cat can crawl though so at least he has more room, still not ideal of course but better.

The Spay/Neuter Clinic will go a long way to reduce the population of homeless cats and dogs who end up having a sad life.

First of all, Thanks for all the concern. It was just a nasty cold with some sort of a virus hanging on. Hopefully by the end of the week I will feel great. Have a lot of reading to catch up on, but that will come later. I do have a few questions though.
1. Did anyone die and leave me something in their will?
