ohh yes totally agree... she's only 2 but it's gone by soo quickly.. seeing the milstones seeing things through her eyes in a fresh way.. her proudly helping it seems last week she was just barely walking around here.. now shes running and shutting herself in her bedroom laying on the floor playing with her toys!

Maybe I was lucky with my dd. She didn't ask for much, and was never too proud to wear generic. Maybe once a year she would ask for something "namebrand", but always said it was OK if I couldn't afford it.
She understood when finances were tight, the answer was no, but if things were OK, we were allowed to indulge.
Her mood swings weren't too bad either. Manageable/typical I would say.

I once came home when I was about 20...and entered the house and my sister's friends were like who are you...and I was like...who are you...they were like you first. It was interesting...I wasn't living at home in fact I was living in Alberta at the time I came home and my sister's friends were asking 20 questions with me. She was about 14 at the time...yet left them in the house so I had to wait until she came back before I was allowed in my parents house...even if I had a house key..
