Few days back i bought a bottle of Vaseline Cocoa butter deep conditioning moisturizer for my sister in law. I have never used this product before although i have tried few other range of moisturizers from vaseline. Now i am not sure whether i should exchange it (i don't like the smell) for the one that i have used or keep it. Can some one who has used this product please post their experience?

i love it. it's the best moisturizer from vaseline. it's not greasy and does a lot more than moisturizing. one time i had an allergic reaction to latex gloves, once i put some cocoa butter lotion on, the skin rash is gone in no time.

i buy this particular kind of vaseline lotion for my daughter who gets patchy marks on her skin. it is proven effective in smoothing the appearance and diminishing those marks.
for myself, i use the Olay Quench Ultra Hydrating and it is worth every penny. It is also unscented. i find as i age, i tire of scented products. i really do not like the fake cocoa butter scent of the vaseline but as an efficient product, it works wonders on the skins condition.if at first you don't succeed, do it the way your wife told you...

I LOVE this lotion. It's the one I use religiously.
etherealone - I will have to have my daughter try mine. She is allergic to pork, and gets these dry bumpy patches. We use Aveeno for her, but as she gets older it doesn't seem to do the trick as well.

I love it too, all vaseline lotions actually as they are the only kinds that don't make my psoriasis any worse.

This is the only moisturizer I use and I love it!
It smells good, works great, and doesn't leave you greasy at all.

It's not greasy, per se, but I find that it leaves a tacky residue that doesn't leave me with that clean feeling....I know it's there and that I've applied lotion, it doesn't fade into my skin and leave me feeling clean.
I prefer the vaseline aloe lotion (green bottle), although this may be too light for some. I love light, clean, completely absorbed body lotions. The coca butter is not a heavy lotion, but it does leave a residue for me.
