That's very cool, Appleby - but you HAVE been a writer all this time, just not a 'paid' one!
I worked as a print journalist and editor in the past, and the pay was pitiful!
Good luck, and continued success!

Yup, the pay sucks for a journalist... I graduated with a BJ (ok before you dirty minds go anywhere with that... it's a Bachelors of Journalism!) and only worked for a short while in the newsroom before I pimped myself out to the public sector as a Spin Doctor.... 13 years later, I am much happier and richer, than had I stuck to the beat... But to each his own and good luck to you! Congrats! Feels good to write,, doesn't it?
