Im from Vancouver. Anyone been snowshoeing at any of the mountains? I've looked at the mountians's website but they don't say much. Any suggestions? Don't want to do the tours, want to walk ourselves, just need rentals.

I'm a snowboarder so I don't know too much about snowshoeing. My friend always goes to Grouse for it and she doesn't go in a guided tour. They offer snowshoe rentals plus they're accessible by car. If you don't drive or don't want to spend money on gas + parking you can get there by public transit, the only mountain to offer that option. Grouse would be my pick out instead of Cypress or Seymour.
