why do i feel so violated when coupons expire?

does anyone else feel violated when coupons expire without a chance to use them? i have a bunch that expire today....and i'm so sad about it.

truly, i feel like a nut bar...sad about expired coupons? but surely, i can't be the only one who is feeling the looming december 31st expiry coming upon us all soon????

I feel a great regret...sorta like when there is a wicked deal at a store and I was too lazy to go and get it, and I wait for the last day and they sold out...or sometimes when I buy it the next week and remember that I should have bought it the week it was on sale... deep regret.. ..sad and stressful..

I feel the same. I desperately try to give them away at the grocery store if i can't use them. I feel a little crazy but i feel like someone should use them! It is a sad day though, when they end up into the recycling bin.

I find it worse when it was a HV or a FPC and it expired and I never got a chance to use it.

But when they expire that just makes room for the new ones. I do find alot of my stash is expiring the end of the month so my purse will soon be lighter. LOL

i feel bummed, at best, but certainly not violated

i don't worry about tossing them in the recycling, it just means that those manufacturers weren't able to trick me into buying their things JUST because i had a coupon. there has to be a great deal to go along with it no sweat!

there's always the next fresh batch just around the corner, waiting to be clipped and filed

Oh wow! No, I definitely don't feel violated when a coupon expires. If it's a really good one - like an FPC that I forgot to use, I do regret it. But with most coupons, I'm more like Anisa. There's always going to be another coupon and another good sale.

I used up all my coupons tonight and threw out TONS I would never use. Saved 430.00 tonight and spent 74.00. Coupons are stressing me out lol.

I was feeling panic, like I need to use them. Even if I dont want or need the item, I could donate it right?. I'm not doing it in 2011. I don't have to use every single coupon. I often leave them on items now that they're for but I won't use. I still fear LD will stop letting us stack tho.

I die a thousand deaths whenever I have to throw out coupons. Arghhh!!! (But then I come back so that I can use more coupons ha ha).

However, I do send them to my sister's office (the ones I dont want - BEFORE expiry date of course) and some I will leave on shelves when I go shopping. But invariably there are those that I meant to use, and then its the date that they expire before you know it.

FPC's/HV's don't stand a CHANCE in my house! I like using FPC's at either Zellers or Sobey's- at Zellers I get HBC pts, and Sobey's I get air miles! Woo!
