I do big shops as we only go to town every couple weeks, So I hit a lot of stores all at once. Here's how my day went today
SDM
4x Annabell eyeshadow $3ea
1x Compact to hold them $3ea
2x Annabell eyeliner $3ea
minus 7x $2 coup
Total $9.52 (incl tax) saved 14.00
Save On Foods
2x Garlic Sausage Ring $6.49ea - BOGO = $6.49
2x Green Onions $0.69ea - 0.19 SOM (save on more)= $1
Miracle Whip $4.99 - $1.20 SOM = $3.79
2x Nabob Coffee $12.49ea - $3.50SOM - $2.00 MFC = $15.98
2x cheese $6.29ea - $1.30 SOM = $9.98
Cascade Gel $2.70 - $0.50 = $2.20
Cascade Action pack 25ct BOGO w/ the gel - $9.29 - 1.00 SOM - $1.00 made because she took off the total before SOM discount applied.
Total OOP $39.76 saved $30.46 ( I was especially surprised because I don't usually think of the grocery stores SOF, Safeway as places to get good deals. Usually I just grab their coupies and head to somewhere cheaper
)
Next
Walmart
I wont go into shopping detail here as my list is pretty long and lots of stuff was stuff i needed wasn't coupon'ish stuff (rubbermaid totes, garden supplies etc.)
I did use some coupons of course and ended up spending $173.28 and saving $20.50. Got some good deals on campbells ch noodle soup $0.33ea and secret flawless $.66ea.
My beef here was my cashier. She was half blind and examining my coupons to the extreme. She took them all but kept muttering stuff like, I know they only intend for you to use one at a time not a bunch like this.....
AND she wouldn't take my 0.75 International Delight coupons because they had a Quebec address on them. UM they say right on them Valid in Canada!!! She said they only take ones addressed to New Brunswick.... huh? W/E I had two cranky kids at that point and more places to go so I didn't fight with her much although I wanted to.... it's been bugging me all day since though.
RCSS
15pk Purex Dbl Roll $6.19 <--- sale price
2x bags - $0.10 forgot my reusables
Fries $3.48
Fruit and Veggies $20.90
12 x Stouffers Entrees $2.99ea - 12 $0.75 store coupon & 9 MFC $0.75 + $2 wub3 = $18.13
2 x G.Giant Essentials $1.49ea - BOGO = $1.49
Gillette Fusion Gel $4.99 - $1.50 store and $1 save.ca = $2.49
Gillette Fusion Limited Ed. w/ sm fusion gel = $7.94 - $2 store (should've been 3 but didnt notice til home) & $4 save.ca = $1.94
Total $56.85 Saved $27.74
London Drugs
Aspirin Low Dose (PM RCSS) $9.99 - $7 stack = 2.99
2x Windex (PM WM $2.77ea) - $6 stack = 0.46 made
Ocean Spray $4.99 - $3 stack = $1.99
Glade Sense and Spray Refill $3.99 - $3 stack = $1
Kinder Surprise $1.19 (to calm the cranky 3yr old)
2x Glade Candle $4.99ea - BOGO and $4 stack = $0.99
Febreeze Soy Candle $5.99 (manager special from 8.99) - $2 = $3.99
Venus Embrace (PM RCSS $8.99) - $5 stack = $3.99
Smuckers Jam (PM SOF $3.49) - $1 stack = $2.49
Diapers (PM SDM $14.99) = Wipes (PM WM 9.99) - $14.50 stack = $10.48
Total OOP 36.81 saved 53.49
So aside from a small hiccup at Walmart it was a good savings day. RCSS even apologized for giving me the per purchase hassel last time I was there ( I went to clarify things before I shopped today
). Wish I could get some pics but my kids would tear it apart before i could arrange it all nicely

For SOF... did you use a BOGO for Cascade?! I might have to try that, lol. They are silly in how they do that... their instore B1G1 rock too IF the price is on sale as well! And the B3G1 Heinz beans coupon... when they had them on for 80cents, they took off the regular price of the 1 for free... which was like $1.80!! SOF is overpriced, but can find some awesome sales and clearance!
...k, done reading it all now. Great deals!! Well done!!

Nice deals!! Definitely love the BOGO! I once got porkloins BOGO at SOF for CHEAP CHEAP. Each one was 2 meals plus left overs. I usually don't step foot in SOF or Safeway unless I KNOW there are specific deals.
PS - Very strange about the International Delight!!Last edited by danam314; Wed, Feb 10th, 2010 at 12:49 PM.
Coupons = Little pieces of paper you get FREE from the stores, from reps and from companies (ie: Not gold)
