I started a thread on sdm facebook in discussions re:coupons

So on the discussion tab on the sdm facebook page I expressed my frustration with shopping at shoppers with coupons, the person who is handling the facebook site seems to be very good and on the ball, they got back to me within a few hours to let me know they would check it out for me on Tuesday, thought some of you might be interested

I did too and they answered already, lol, shoppers DOES do SCOP, i'll be carrying a copy of that with me for sure

I kinda feel sorry for her, we'll sure be keeping her busy haha. But I am going to print everything she says and bring it with me to shoppers from now on!!!!!

Shoppers headquarters needs to adopt a chain wide policy on coupons. In Hamilton area almost every store does not accept coupons or they will only accept 1 per transaction. Forget about using a coupon to get an item for free they will call the cops on you for shoplifting.

i doubt it will matter what you get from that post as I heard it is the store owners choice on coupon policy. The only way is for them to order store owners to accept coupons.

Oh no! Don't feel sorry for quizzing the woman. In this economy, you are doing her a service by making sure she has a job. Just imagine how long she'd last if no one didn't show up to complain...er, be educated.

well....from reading the posts there it looks like she doesn't know what she's talking about when it comes to 20x the points and coupons...I spent over $50 on top of my coupons so I didn't get a chance to see if it would work....plus it's been a week since she said she would find out about their coupon policy and find out for me on tuesday, but no news yet, so probably won't get anywhere with this, it will just stay the same, never knowing if a cashier will take a coupon or not....
