My first brag!

So, last week I participated in my first coupon trade, and got the $10 L'oreal Everpure coupon because I knew my SDM still had the gift sets in stock. I went in on Saturday, and the cashier would not allow me to use the coupon for the gift set. She said it would be "Too good of a deal.:
Presumably because they were $7.99 and my coupon was for more than that. Not wanting to make a scene, I took my coupon and left.
This afternoon, I noticed that they had marked the sets down to $2.99! I asked the cashier (same one, no less) if she would let me use the coupon if I took three sets. She agreed to that. So, I got three sets at $2.99 each, and a pack of gum for a grand total of $2.05!!!
The best part is that this was WAY better of a deal than it would have been had she let me use the coupon on Saturday!!!
Then I went back this evening, and got:
6 Kleenex @ 1.00 - $1.00 WUB2 coupons = 3.00 (plus 1600 Bonus points!)
2 Dove body wash (plus bonus soap) @ 2.99 each (plus 1000 Bonus points!) = $5.98
2 Crest Toothpastes @ 1.88 - (2) 1.00 coupons = $1.76
PF Shimmer Strips Mascara @ 16.99 - full price MIR = 0!

Total coupons used = $4
Total MIR = $16.99
Total OOP = $10.74

Hopefully I did the post (and my math!) right.

I'm in Southern MB. When I went in, in the afternoon, I am sure I saw someone stocking the cosmetics (it wasn't someone that worked there). I've checked in the past week or so, and they didn't have them the last time I looked, so my guess is that they just went up today.
I was also going to grab the Bamboo Wear Compact until I realized it's just a compact and brush. You still have to buy the $15 powder for it! Maybe others already realized that.

I've bought the everpure trial sets a few times now, but never at SDM because I can't be bothered to go through a potential ordeal and always have got them at WM.
