SDM & Old Spice

Well it's not the greatest savings, but here is mine for today. Walked into SDM to look at the prices of the coupons that were in my plum" coupon booklet. So didn't see many things that were a great deal. However, I did run onto Old Spice that was posted at 2/$5 regular price of $4.99 each. So I snagged 2 of them and used my old spice coupons (stacked) which were WUB $3 off and then WUB 1g$1 off. Then I ran into some Kleenex and they were selling some for $1 each so I grabbed 2 and used the WUB2 $1 off coupon. So total price was $12 +tax at regular price and I paid $3.84.
When I originally went to the cashier it was $9+ and I said "no" the Old Spice is listed at 2/$5 so she went down to the aisle, grabbed the sticker off the shelf and said I got the last deal of that. (no longer valid, but they have to honor what they advertise).

Yes, that should have been a SCOP (free product) but still good deals!

Okay thanks for the advice. I went online and researched S.C.O.P and sure enough Shoppers was first on the named list as the signing authority to this practice. So I went back to my Shopper's this AM, talked to the manager and they let me grab another stick of Deoderant for free. Thanks for the heads up.
