Hi all,
actually, when we redeemed for the $25 amazon gift card, we were credited for $5 already, so the refund of 2539 SBs is equivalently for $20 amazon gift card.
specifically,
for the regular price: 3150/$25= 126 SBs per dollar,
in this case of the refund, 3150/$30 (the extra $5 we already had in our amazon.ca account) = 105 SBs per dollar.
for the sale price: 2489/$25=99.56 SBs per dollar
if we only look at the SB per dollar, we are better off as 105 vs. 126 for the regular price, but we are worse of as 105 vs. 99.56 SBs per dollar for the sale price, and PLUS we lost the timing because it was supposed that we have the $25 in our account already.

Actually my cards never redeemed for $5, they both said invalid code, if I did get $5 each then I would be fine with that, but I didn't.

the worst thing is: i have captcha with every single SBTV which may make me fade away from watching them....

My situation is like this: the first day i found the cards(a $25 and a $5) on my cart, i redeemed them on my amazon.ca account immediately, but they both didn't work. so i contacted the support via swagbucks- contact us, they emailed me back saying something like "do not use the cards on amazon.ca until we email you back about the resolution". one or two days later, they emailed me and said the problem had been resolved and i can use them right now. so i went to amazon, redeemed them, i got $5 and $5 for both the codes. so i complained again, later i got the email said they were going to refund the full SBs plus 50 extra for expedited shipping. actually, the points already appearing on my account this morning.
really a lot of hassle and the refund can't justify it since we are worse off comparing to the promotion and the problem we encountered. if i were you, i would complain again.

I am in the same boat with everyone regarding the amazon.ca gift card. I never redeemed the code, so I need 661 sbs to get the amazon.ca gift card again with next day delivery. I have emailed them about this and hope they respond and give us all the 661 sbs we need.

I got the email that said to wait before redeeming, although I only had $5 GCs. But I never got another email saying it was OK to use them. I wanted my $20, so I went ahead and tried them and they worked.

Apparently there was a sale but the cards did not work. Now swagbucks were refunded but it cannot be purchased again at that price because the sale is over. That's how I understood this situation

A note for those of you who do SBTV:

I normally just hit play and do something else while they're going. My SBTV seems to default to entertainment, no matter what I select.

But someone (sorry, forget who) told me that if you do a search at the main SBTV window, you can find some other things. Today I started searching Diet, and there are actually some interesting videos there, Prevention has exercise segments if you're into that kind of thing.
